And I feel fine.
Mostly. Because Mazda won the 12 Hours of Sebring yesterday, and I was there to see it. Enjoy this picture of the eventual winner on its way to Turn 10 .
This was my 19th straight 12 Hours of Sebring. I think there have been some times where I said “oh it would be nice if this car won” and maybe they did. But never has a car/team I was actively rooting for won, mostly because I root for Mazda and well, their history in endurance races the past several years is, uh, spotty. But Multimatic has the RT24-P mostly sorted and even though 2020 didn’t go that well on track (only one win until last night for the #55 and none for the #77), they managed to bring home one of the big ones. Shame it wasn’t a 1-2, but Mazda still had to make it somewhat difficult for themselves at the end.

I’m sad about the Lexus’s not finishing. They where the only Canadian team there.

Yeah, that pile up that took out both AVS cars was crazy. I only saw limited pictures because I was nowhere near Turn 17 or a screen at that moment. That was pretty rotten luck for them to both get taken out of contention like that.

I should have known they would find a way in GTLM.
